Los Angeles Colombo Americano Rotary Club has elected German Angel, as its president.
Los Angeles Colombo Americano Rotary Club has elected German Angel, Independent Public Television Producer, Long Beach Community Television as its president for the term of July 2022 through June 2023.
During his term German Angel will continue the projects, especially the flagship wheelchairs project in Colombia. In the last year this project has delivered about 300 wheelchairs to disadvantaged and handicapped people in Colombia at a cost of about $32,000. It will also continue to support other local projects such as Rise Against Hunger and other humanitarian projects in Latin-America.
German Angel has been with the Rotary Club since November 8th 2019.This election follows his role as Public Relations Chair. In which he was responsible for maintaining existing media relations and promoting positive public awareness of the club.
German is a business entrepreneur and Television Producer. He has also worked as a Labor Mediator, Internet consultant and Radio Host. In 1990, he founded a janitorial service called All-Pro Cleaning Services. 30 years later, this company became one of the most successful cleaning companies in Long Beach, California, rebranded as Property Deep Cleaning and managed by his two sons.
German is a twice winner of the Long Beach Annual Television Awards, in the category of multi-cultural community oriented television production (2020 & 2021), for Frontier communications channel 41 and Spectrum Communications channel 32.
Angel has achieved local recognition for his ability to conduct on-air interviews and participate in public appearances. As well as other community service includes volunteering to pick up trash from local neighborhood beaches, serving on following boards Asociación Colombiana de Locutores y Comunicadores, The Colombo American Citizen in Action, Hispanic Motor Press , Los Angeles Colombo American Rotary, Long Beach Community Television, The Angel Foundation and a collaborative reporter for the “La Prensa Colombiana”.
